Why has this app frustratingly stopped working all of a sudden?
I’m having the exact same problem as the user I’ve quoted below with no remedy seemingly available. This is an extremely frustrating problem having spent countless hrs searching for the specific feeds I wanted. Very very annoying app.
I am trapped in the sign-in screen. When I open the app, it goes directly to the sign-in screen and when I try to sign in with my google account, I get an error message that says “The google account xxxxxx@gmail.com is already configured. Press edit to change the account information, or press cancel to stop configuring a new google account.”
When I press cancel, the error message disappears but I still can’t leave the sign-in screen. When I press edit, the same thing happens.
So I tried the “delete and re-install” thing. Now when I try to sign in, I get an error message saying “Cannot sign in to google reader. authentication failure. The email or password you entered is incorrect.” I’ve tried re-entering the information several times, a couple times at snail pace to make sure I was putting in the correct information. No luck.
This is the best RSS reader I’ve tried, and I’d really like to keep it. What am I doing wrong?

Francis (and anyone else googling this problem) it’s because you set up 2-step verification on your gmail account. I did the same thing and finally remembered that you have to generate application-specific passwords for each google app on your phone. Go here to generate your password: https://www.google.com/accounts/IssuedAuthSubTokens
The copy/paste it into Mobile RSS and it should work.
Please update app for iOS 6 and iPhone 5 !
